Lance Morehouse, Executive Director

Lance came to Sherwood in August 2013 with 15 years of non-profit experience specific to people with developmental disabilities and their families. He developed the Advocacy and Family Support programs at The Arc of Spokane and for three years was Coordinator of the King County Parent Coalition for Developmental Disabilities at The Arc of King County. He has helped organize grassroots legislative advocacy and directly lobbied elected officials at the local, state and federal levels for services and supports to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities and their families. Lance also has the personal experience of being a parent to two sons with multiple disabilities; Lance Jr. who unfortunately passed away in 2006 at the age of 24 and Gregory who graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 2013.

Nick Holz, Career Connection Program Manager

Nick Holz Joined Sherwood in 2014 as the Career Connection/Client Services Program Manager. Prior to Sherwood, Nick was the current Kansas Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE) chapter president and is currently Certified Employment Support Professional by APSE. While in Kansas, he started a certification program in conjunction with Labette Community College to help provide specific training to promote employment for individuals with disabilities. Nick came to Sherwood from Joplin, Missouri where he had 4 1/2 years experience placing individuals with disabilities into community employment in both Kansas and Missouri. Nick has a degree in Graphic design.

Callie Graff, Career Connection

Callie Graff joined Sherwood in 2007 working with infants in our childcare center. She moved to Career Connection/Industrial Services in 2008 when the childcare was phased out. She oversees Sherwood's internal IT needs, and was promoted to Quality Manager. As Quality Manager, Callie ensures that our AS9100 certification is maintained, and that Sherwood is in good standing with our commercial contracts at Comcast and Boeing. Callie now oversees Industrial Services that employs about twenty adults who experience a disability.

Joy Panks, Administration Director

Joy Panks joined Sherwood in 2010 as the Administration Director. Joy has seven years Human Resource and Executive Office Management experience. Additionally, she has five years of experience with Facilities/Property Management. As the Administration Director for Sherwood, Joy is an active member of the Leadership Team and is responsible for managing the agency's administrative functions including the administrative office and staff, human resources, payroll, and employee benefit plans. Joy also oversees the maintenance and custodial needs for the facility. She is the chairperson of the Safety Committee and is dedicated to the safety of the staff, clients, and guests of Sherwood.

Jerry Godley, Financial Officer

Jerry Godley has been at Sherwood since 1993. She oversees the daily financial operations.

Anna Gibson, ExCEL Program Manager

Anna joined Sherwood in 2006 as a Family Resource Coordinator/Educator and expanded her career as the ExCEL program Manager in June, 2014. Prior to Sherwood, Anna taught kindergarten in Las Vegas NV and developed classrooms rich in parent and community involvement. She has a Degree in Human Development specializing in early childhood development and care. Anna enjoys working with families with children birth to 3 who have developmental delays or disabilities.

Julie Adams, Billing Administrator

Julie Adams joined Sherwood in 2007 as an FRC/Educator. She later became the ExCEL program coordinator. Prior to Sherwood, Julie had 20 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. She has worked at private and public schools, preschools, and non-profit organizations in Massachusetts, New Mexico, Georgia, and Washington state. She has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Julie enjoys working with families in providing therapy and educational services for children birth to 3 who have developmental delays or disabilities.

Andrew Urie, TechSTEP Coordinator

Andrew joined Sherwood in 2007 as a Job Placement specialist in Career Connection. In August 2012, he became the TechSTEP Services Coordinator. Prior to Sherwood, Andrew had 10 years of experience working with children and teens with various mental health disorders. He has worked for both a private practice and Snohomish County's largest mental health outpatient organization as a group facilitator and as a Mental Health Professional. He has a Master's Degree in Psychology, specializing in Children's Mental Health. Andrew enjoys working closely with individuals and families in providing Assistive Technology services to increase greater independence and communication to individuals with developmental delays or disabilities. His interest at Sherwood comes from his mother's involvement and his sister, Brittany, who has Down syndrome and cerebral palsy.
