Position: Employment Specialist 2, Quality Assurance and Billing Specialist
Location: Skagit County
Hourly - Full Time, 40 Hours per Week
Salary Range: $26.00 - $33.80 DOE
Hiring Range: $26.00 - $29.90* DOE

The Career and Community Connections Program at Sherwood provides opportunities and assistance for people with disabilities to find and retain employment. This positon is responsible for facilitating good working relationships between funding sources, the client and prospective employers to ensure strong, natural work supports and a smooth transition to employment. Will provide follow-along services for participants working in community jobs and work at job sites to help train the participant, the employer, and staff on effective communication techniques, overcoming barriers to successful job performance, assessing the workplace for safety, and developing natural supports in the workplace. This position represents the agency to stakeholders and requires dressing, communicating and conducting oneself professionally at all times.
Qualifications:
High School diploma with a minimum of 1+ years experience working with individuals in vocational settings. Previous successful job development/marketing skills. Knowledge of funding sources including DDA/DVR/DSB. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong recordkeeping and financial management skills are a must. This position requires the ability to make independent judgment decisions in the best interest of the organization, and maintain strict confidentiality at all times. The ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, families, and other professionals is vital. Time management and a high level of professionalism in appearance, actions and communication are pertinent. Must possess a valid WA state driver’s license, have automobile insurance, and use own vehicle on the job with mileage reimbursement. Must pass criminal background check.
