Meet our Board of Directors
Gary O’Rielly, President
Gary has been a part of the Sherwood board since 2016. He was born in South Dakota, but grew up in Seattle, Washington. Gary graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School as part of the second graduating class. Gary continued his education at Lewis and Clark College, where he earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Public Administration.

Gary retired in 2004, after having successful careers in theatre management, Chamber of Commerce management, and Regional Manager of Public Affairs for International Paper.

Gary has been married to Beverly for 63 years, and together they have three children and five grandchildren. Currently, Gary remains active in his community, serving on four boards, including Sherwood, Lake Stevens Rotary, the Lake Stevens Community Food Bank, and the Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce.
Melissa Hemrich, Past President
Melissa is a long time Sherwood supporter and joined our board in 2014. She is currently VP/Senior Lead Business Development Officer at Coastal Community Bank. Melissa, her husband and son, live in Marysville. She was born and raised in Snohomish County, and you will often find her connecting in our community working with business owners, or volunteering with other local non-profits. Melissa believes that we all have the capability to create positive change, and her goal is to leave a positive impact whenever she can.
Sam Reed, Treasurer
Sam has been a Sherwood board member since October 2019 and currently serves as the board Treasurer. He has a degree in business administration from the University of Washington and MBA in healthcare management from the University of St. Mary’s. Sam works as a senior commercial underwriter for BECU and has spent most of his working career in various capacities in commercial banking. Sam, and wife Karin, have four boys and reside on Camano Island. Karin works as a special education preschool teacher in the Stanwood-Camano school district. Their youngest child received Sherwood’s services when he was an infant. Since 2019, Sam has been a supporter of Sherwood, believes in its mission, and has seen firsthand how vital the services are that Sherwood provides to the community.
Tracy DeLorm, DDS, Secretary
Tracy joined the Sherwood Community Service's board in 2017. She grew up in Lake Stevens and now lives here with her husband of over 30 years and 2 very spoiled cats. Tracy is a dentist at Chapel Hill Family Dentistry in Lake Stevens; she took over this practice from her father in 2001 and renamed it in 2020.
Tracy is a proud member of the community and admits that volunteering is her #1 hobby. She has been a long-time member of the Lake Stevens Rotary Club and has found that Sherwood Community Services fits right in with her beliefs.
Leigh Spruce
Leigh joined the board in November 2023.
Angelie Vincent
Angelie has been a Sherwood board member since November 2023. Angelie Vincent is an integration engineer in Boeing Commercial Airplanes Data, AI, and Emerging Technology. In addition to this work, she has a special interest in Accessibility and is working to creating a more Accessible passenger experience for the flying public. Angelie has a passion for helping and supporting the Disability community and is the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the SWE DisAbility Inclusion Affinity Group. Angelie identifies as being disabled having been diagnosed late in life with autism in addition to having two non-apparent disabilities. She lives in Camano Island, Washington with her husband Brian and dogs Delta, Minnie, and Chester. She also has two amazing grown sons Victor and Caleb that she loves very much.
Jessica Taylor
Jessica joined the Sherwood board in February 2024 after getting to know Sherwood as a community business donor. She is an owner of Taylor’s Plumbing Solutions and has worked as a RN in pediatric home health, inpatient oncology, and infusion centers. Jessica, her husband, and three kids live in Lake Stevens. They have experience with IEP and 504 plans. Jessica has benefited from services like those offered at Sherwood which grew her passion for a community that believes in abilities and meeting people where they are at.
Aileen Spradlin
Aileen joined the Sherwood board in August of 2024. She grew up in Everett, Washington and moved to Lake Stevens, Washington in 2003. Aileen had a career as an RN, but now is retired. She became a board member because her family has benefited from the same services that Sherwood provides.
