Position: Development and Partnership Associate

Location: Island County

Part time: 32hr/week, Flexible Scheduling

Salary Range: $21.05 – $27.37 per hour DOE

Hiring Wage: $21.05 – $24.21 per hour DOE

 

Position Summary

The Development and Partnership Associate will serve as a spokesperson and ambassador for Sherwood. This highly visible position puts you face to face with a variety of businesses, community leaders, supporters and volunteers who are current or prospective partners. This is a position of significant responsibility that requires a high level of interpersonal and collaborative skills, the ability to cultivate relationships and think outside the box; clearly communicating the needs of the organization, as well as ask for specific and bold investments from partners.

 

Qualifications:

The agency encourages exceptional candidates from a broad variety of backgrounds to apply including recent graduates and those seeking a transition from the private sector. The position requires a high level of confidence, empathy, verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. Non-profit fundraising experience a plus. Appropriate training and support will be provided. We seek those with a passion to ensure every individual has the opportunity to participate fully in their communities.

Must possess a valid WA state driver’s license, have automobile insurance, and use own vehicle on the job. Must pass criminal background check.
