Position: Development and Partnership Associate
Location: Island County
Part time: 32hr/week, Flexible Scheduling
Salary Range: $26.50 – $34.45 per hour DOE
Hiring Wage: $26.50 – $30.48 per hour DOE
​Position Summary
The Development and Partnership Associate will serve as a Community Liaison for Sherwood under direction of the Manger of Development and Partnership. This role is primarily responsible for fundraising, developing and deploying individualized cultivation strategies with current and perspective investors, both individuals and businesses. This position will work closely with Sherwood Department Leaders to meet program needs.
Qualifications:
The agency encourages exceptional candidates from a broad variety of backgrounds to apply including recent graduates and those seeking a transition from the private sector. The position requires a high level of confidence, empathy, verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. Non-profit fundraising, event experience, knowledge of donor database and event software a plus. Appropriate training and support will be provided. We seek those with a passion to ensure every individual has the opportunity to participate fully in their communities.

Must possess a valid WA state driver’s license, have automobile insurance, and use own vehicle on the job. Must pass criminal background check.
