Position: Director of Development and Partnership
Location: Snohomish County
Full time; Flexible Scheduling
Annual Salary Hiring Range: $65,166 - $70,054* DOE
Position Summary
Sherwood’s Development and Partnership Department is the public facing department including Development/Fundraising, Marketing and Community Education components. The Director will work with CEO and will serve as a spokesperson and ambassador for Sherwood. This highly visible position puts you face to face with a variety of businesses, community leaders, supporters and volunteers who are current or prospective partners. The Director will lead a small, dynamic team of committed staff to meet the goals of the department including planning successful events. This position will also work with other agency directors to accomplish agency goals and plan for the future.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a dynamic individual who is a visionary and strategic thinker. This position requires strong project management, writing, organizational and relationship building skills. Innovative and collaborative qualities will be necessary for success and attention to detail is a must. We are looking for a person with solid leadership skills and an ability to motivate and effectively lead and support a small committed team. Previous fundraising experience including grant writing is a plus and we will provide all necessary training and support on our model. Must have strong computer skills including MS Suite and database management.

Sherwood is a growing independent, non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality services to meet the needs of people with disabilities throughout Snohomish, Skagit and Island Counties. We believe in the abilities of all people and our mission is to provide innovative, inclusive services for children and adults with disabilities in their communities. These services include early intervention for infants and toddlers, assistive technology for people of all ages, and employment supports for adults.
