Position: Development & Partnership Officer
Location: Snohomish County
40 hours, Flexible, primarily Monday-Friday
Annual Hiring Range: $54,000 - $56,200 DOE
Position Summary
Responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with current and prospective businesses, community leaders, supporters and volunteers. This position will serve as a spokesperson and ambassador for Sherwood under direction of the Development & Partnership Director and is primarily responsible for developing and deploying individualized cultivation strategies with current and perspective investors to support Sherwood’s annual fundraising goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of documented professional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Demonstrated ability in securing investments from individuals, businesses, foundations, and other private funding sources. Ability to exercise good judgment, to demonstrate an understanding of ethics related to development activities, and use discretion in interactions with donors, prospects, volunteers, and others. Organizational skills and experience in managing events and other complex activities in support of development objectives. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with others and liaising with partners and the community. Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, families, and other professionals is vital.
Must possess a valid WA state driver’s license, have automobile insurance, and use own vehicle on the job. Must pass criminal background check.
